I just want to say that I am SO happy the Socialite has just nailed the Tailor to the wall with with the very pointed question as to why they're here. That, bookended with the convo the Tailor is having with the Chimeric Professor after class to try to understand what benefit this language could have and why the Professor is there, is all so... chef's kiss.
I really wanted to get a chance at some point in this class to highlight that the Tailor doesn't really know how this could benefit them and their reasoning for being here is weak. To get to talk about that in week one means I get to make it a RUNNING THEME. Let's see if we can wedge any grain of curiosity into that skull.
I promise not to make everything about my OC forever, I was gonna have these things running quietly as background thoughts and if they came up naturally, all the better, but that was just so well executed.
