Piper took the question as an invitation, and was throwing their arms around Maven nearly before she'd finished speaking. Of course, this meant they accidentally spilled the rest of their water all down her back. Hopefully if she was upset by that, she'd have the good manners to send an assassin after them. They could use a good fight this week, after all this.
But right now, they were using a good hug. And that was better. No one ever offered them hugs, and how were you supposed to ask? Who were you supposed to ask?
