At the beginning the Mycologist bears an expression of a polite interest. Gradually over time it shifts to a smirk, then to a grin, and it ends up in a teeth-baring display of amusement which doesn't fit with the rest of his face at all.

"I find it well done, " he concludes and hands back the collection. "I see a part of this class could do with an advanced course from the beginning. Not that establishing firm foundations for everyone is not necessary, of course." Just in case the Emissary-Professor is within a hearing distance.
