The half-grimace slipped from their face, and perhaps a modicum of tension dropped out of their shoulders when they stood and leaned across the desks to take the offered hand, textured as it was, and gave it a single firm shake. "The pleasure's mine." They gave a set of an initials and a surname, and then, "or to some, the Anachronistic Tailor. At least, that is the intent."
They sank back into their seat, and their eye subtly turned back to the Professor's attire. "I am impressed you leave time to take classes between your own work and lectures," they said as they up their little book and marked in it briefly. "Though I suppose there's always a way to find room to learn?"
